I am a big fan of natural health food supplements. I dont think that you should substitute supplements for healthy food, however it is nearly impossible to get enough vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and other necessary nutrients in a typical daily food plan. Unless you are juicing fruits and vegetables, you could not possibly eat enough to get the needed vitamins and minerals. Similarly most people do not take sufficient amino acids, or protein in their diet. It takes a little research to determine what is right for you. I started with a good multi vitamin, then added vitamin C, D & E. (a good rule of thumb is A,B,C,D,E for basic vitamins). Then I added a good soy based protien powder with lots of amino acids. I have gone further by additing more vitamins, minerals and herbal supplments, but if you just start with the basics you will improve your health.
