I know this sounds simple, but we all need to drink 8 glasses of water every day. Especially when we are having hot weather, the body looses a great deal of fluid. What I have found is that you must spread out your water over the entire day, because if you try to drink several at one sitting, you wont absorb them, and end up having to use the restroom more frequently. If you spread out your 8 glasses over say, 8 hours, then your body has a greater chance of absorbing the water. Also, you cannot make up for dehydration in a couple hours, when your body becomes dehydrated from not drinking enough water, it may take a couple days of drinking 8 glasses per day to rehydrate your body. There is definitely a lag time there, and so you should not put yourself in the position of allowing yourself to become dehydrated. Every cell in your body contains water, and life depends on water, so make sure you get your 8 glasses each day. I know this is not radical news, nor is it new advice, but it is so vital that it is worth reminding you. I even find that I forget to drink water every hour of every day. One way that I remember is that I start having joint pain, and that reminds me that I am becoming dehydrated and forgot my water the day before.
